Brooklyn Nets star Kris Humphries could miss the 2013 NBA playoffs because of his divorce trial with Kim Kardashian.
Humphries intends to sit out playoff matches if they clash with the trial, according to TMZ.
The trial starts on May 6, and with the playoffs beginning on April 20 and the finals on June 6, there is a possibility Humphries will be double-booked.
Brooklyn are travelling strongly in the Eastern Conference Atlantic Division in second position.
In proceedings still before court, Humphries has alleged his marriage to reality TV star Kardashian was fraudulent and a publicity stunt to boost ratings and net a considerable financial windfall.
Kardashian infamously filed for divorce from Humphries on October 31, 2011, a mere 72 days after their well-publicised nuptials.
