A defender in the South African Premier League is the toast of Pretoria after hitting an astonishing match-winner from 70 yards out.

Senegalese defender Mor Diouf produced this sparkling goal in the dying stages of a league clash between his Supersport United and Mamelodi Sundowns.

Sundowns had surged forward in hopes of a late winner when Diouf struck on the rebound in the 88th minute.

The United defender spotted Sundowns goalkeeper Wayne Sandilands off his line and thrashed into the back of the net from inside his own half.

To say Sandilands was left feeling embarrassed would be an understatement.
