AFL Central, hosted by Russell Barwick, will deliver comprehensive national coverage of the latest AFL news and explore the issues affecting the game. Watch it every weekday at 6.30pm on Sport TV or 7pm on Footy TV.

AFL Central will provide an exciting alternative to current panel shows. We will ask the questions fans want answered, inviting them to participate in the program via twitter. The show can be seen on your mobile phone, Telstra T-Box, or the Internet through the official AFL website and the SportsFans network Monday to Friday.

There will also be a range of innovative segments, including:

Coach Killer – the moment in a match when the coach throws his head back in despair, complete with vision and analysis of the play in question.
The Injury Front – we’ll consult the physicians as to the severity of a particular player’s injury and his expected absence.
Reporters Corner – with studios in every state, every issue will be covered on a daily basis, without bias, by the leading AFL writers and
reporters.
Shooting Stars – we’ll provide an alternative platform for the best stories on AFL Club web sites, as shot by the players themselves.
Cliché of the Day – the toughest segment, choosing which ‘cliché’, delivered by player or coach, is the best or worst of the day.
